Street Dialogue is a mixed media art show in Fort Collins, Colorado exploring the concept of citizens having a metaphorical conversation with their environment through application and removal of layers of paper, paint, signage and other ephemera. Paul Lukes has always been inspired by the ever evolving surfaces of city walls and the stories told through the various layers that are covered and revealed through anonymous additions and subtractions by the cities inhabitants. This show is an interpretation of all those inspirations, through the eyes and hands of Darin, Paul Lukes and Devin “Speaks” Urioste.
The show is also a benefit for Homeward Alliance, a local Fort Collins nonprofit that aids those people experiencing homelessness. Ten percent of all sales will go to Homeward Alliance and the event will be a winter gear drive, so make sure to bring your unused winter garments to donate.
Alex Knox will be providing the evening’s soundscape of instrumental hip hop and other pleasant sounds for everyone to enjoy. The experience will be firing on all cylinders for all senses to enjoy.
In addition, Topo Designs will provide added support for the event with a product giveaway, et cetera.
